GRAVITY SCALPERS
RMS gravity scalpers are effective and economical for pre-mill trash removal. In addition, one scalper can feed multiple machines.

Mounted on the mill or in line ahead of the mill, these units will remove all foreign objects large enough to cause damage to the rolls or bearings.

MAGNETS

Powerful pull-out plate magnets are positioned in the machine to ensure any foreign material comes in direct contact with the magnets. Guaranteeing the safety of your Roller Mill and your customer’s livestock.

Quick release access door allows easy magnet removal for periodic cleaning. Magnets come in: Rare earth or Ceramic.

RMS Temperature Gun

The RMS temperature gun is a non-contact-thermometer, which can be used to detect a bearing that is running hotter than the rest. This enables you to determine problems before they become emergencies.

Particle Size Testing kit for Testing Feed
This kit readily provides a general indication of the particle size of your feed.

The testing procedure is as easy as:

Weigh a 10 ounce sample of ground corn or finished feed
Shake sample on screen until it appears that all that can get through the screen has gone through
Weigh out the remaining particles on the screen
Match that weight to the chart below to get your average micron size

1 Ounce	=	700 Microns	Excellent
2 Ounce	=	800 Microns	Good
3 Ounce	=	900 Microns	Fair
4 Ounce	=	1000 Microns	Poor
5 Ounce	=	1200 Microns	Disaster
