• The Rolls can conveniently be adjusted from the front of the machine
• This patented innovation allows precision roll alignment in seconds, while eliminating the need to remove covers and belt guards
• The roll adjustment controls have built in roll stops to prevent the rolls from ever running together. These stops never need adjusting, as roll wear is compensated for automatically by the Roll Alignment System
• Product flow and roll gap can be automated and adjusted infinitely. This is a great option for applications which require a variety of finished product sizes in elevated or basement applications

The Roll Grinding Drive

This superior drive system solves many all too common problems with conventional V-belt drives:

• Eliminates all belt slippage : Old style V-Belt drives slip, stretch, and often fail
• Eliminating all idlers : Idler pulleys have bearings  which can fail

• Allows for shorter roll shafts: Helps prevent shaft breakage due to overhung V-belt loading on long drive shafts

This photo shows one side of a Patented RMS DUAL Motor (150HP) Drive System. This RMS 12 x 52" mill is driven by two 75 horsepower motors. As you can see, the machine's design is self-explanatory and very manageable

• A large diameter solid cast iron feed roll is standard equipment on the RMS Industrial Series Roller-Grinder
• The feed roll can be slowed to a complete stop, thus shutting off the flow of grain to the mill for end of the day shutdown

• Our exclusive micro-computer controlled overload shutdown system, which continually and automatically maintains full motor load regardless of the desired grind or the grain condition such as test weight or moisture
• In the event of an over amperage condition the system will continue to slow down the feed roll until the amperage is once again at the preset value (full motor load)
• In a plug up situation in which the over amperage condition cannot be corrected, the system will completely stop the feed roll and sound an alarm. A pre-wired control panel is included

• A felt lined spring loaded trap door on the inside of the mill automatically closes to insure a dust free seal
