Roll Exchange Program:

• We will provide appropriately sized rolls for you as long as you own your mill.
  
• RMS guarantees an average roll diameter of 11.75'' for Industrial Mills and 8.75'' for Commercial Mills
• There is no need to have extra rolls lying around not making you any money.
  
• It does not matter what size, brand or model of mill you have.
  
• We come to your facility and change out your rolls.
  
•  If you prefer to change out your own rolls we also have the ability to deliver sharp rolls to your facility.
  
• Our service technicians will work around your production schedule, in two men crews to minimize your down time

Frequently asked questions:

How long between requesting a Roll Change from RMS will I have to wait for RMS to come to my facility? 

Depends on:

 1. If it is an emergency, we can be there immediately.

2. If it is not an emergency, we try to group you in with a trip with other customers in the same area. This will save you money, as you will be splitting the cost of travel expenses. We recommend calling in at least one month ahead of time to get a "grouped in" rate.

3. If you have a specific date in mind and you do not want to wait for group pricing, let us know. We work around your schedule!

RMS strongly suggests all of our customers keep an extra set of belts and bearings on hand. 

• Belts will wear over time. If  you do not have an extra set  what could have been just downtime to change out belts, will end up stopping your production and increasing your costs to have belts overnight. It is to your advantage to keep these on hand.

•  If a foreign object was by chance to get into your rolls and cause a bearing to fail the excess vibration on the roll may cause the other bearing to fail as well. It is to your advantage to keep an extra set of bearings on hand.
